Two jobs trying to make ends meet

The people I look up to have had some impact on my 46+ years but on occasion, I run across people who I can't help but admire. Recently, I met with a gentleman who is working 2 full time jobs. Job # 1 is an over-nighter - 11pm until 7:30am, then he goes to his 2nd full time job from 8:30pm until 5:00pm. On top of that he is close to 65 years old. This gentleman works hard, 16 hours a day and when I spoke to him, he had a quiet way about him, saying that he does what he has to do to make ends meet.

Exemptions ... In a BOX.

Every day, prospective clients call inquiring about bankruptcy options and one of the most asked questions is: Will I lose my property if I file a Chapter 7? Most of the time, the answer is NO.

Difference between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

What is the difference between a Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy?

Foreclosures

If your house is scheduled for a foreclosure and you are working on a loan modification, keep in mind that the loan modification process does not necessarily stop the foreclosure process. Several clients have come to our Law Firm and said they were working on a loan modification and they thought that meant the foreclosure would automatically stop. This is NOT the case! If you are facing foreclosure, you can use the power of the Federal Bankruptcy Court to stop the foreclosure through filing a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy case.
